Uoc masters

On the other hand, the postgraduate course has a high degree of specialization in a more specific field than the master’s degree, has less teaching load (30 or 60 ECTS credits) and can sometimes be accessed without a university degree, but with some professional experience in that field. They are always individual, unofficial degrees.

This type of master’s degree is recognized at the European level, so that the countries of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) recognize it as such. They are also known as university master’s degrees, and give access to doctoral studies, as well as scoring as postgraduate training in a competitive examination.

When a university wants to offer a master’s degree and make it official, it must submit the project to the Council of Universities for verification, which sends the proposal to ANECA or to the evaluation bodies determined by the Law of the Autonomous Communities. The latter process the evaluation of the project and send the report back to the Council, to finally send the resolution to the university.
